We loved Moscow. The underground! The hosts we stayed with! The relaxed atmosphere!
And the Kremlin, of course.
The Kremlin isn’t a building, it’s a mini city inside Moscow. Like the City of London within London, or the Vatican within Rome. The immense red brick walls around it protect not one, but many buildings. Most of them churches.
Outside the Kremlin, we explored for days.
Later, we found the sculpture park.
This was a genuinely unforgettable trip. We stayed with genuine locals at every stop, not in hotels. All of them were warm, friendly and hospitable. We loved every minute of our time there.
